Workout Like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills With ClassPass

I used to work out semi-annually. That’s right, only a few times a year which is horrible so I give it a cute name. Luckily I have finally come around and I’m working out regular these days thanks to support from friends and family and ClassPass.

ClassPass gives me everything I need to stay consistent. I pay $60 for 5 workout classes a month on ClassPass, but if you sign up using my link you’ll get $30 off! That’s only $6 per class for your first month! If I don’t use a class they do not roll over so I have to workout 5x a month no matter what. I can workout at each gym up to two times per month so I get the variety I need to stay interested and motivated. I can add my friends that have ClassPass to the app and see what workout classes they are signed up for which allows me to join them. You also must pay a cancellation fee if you miss a class and can only cancel (without a fee) more than 24 hours in advance. Once you’ve selected your classes you have to show up or else you’re paying twice! This is the perfect amount of accountability to keep me on track.

As I was scrolling through the available classes I started to see a lot of ones I had seen on Real Housewives episodes and on their social media. I thought it would be fun to include those classes to give anyone needing inspiration a silly little reason to sign up and get moving!

  1. EDEN By Eden Sassoon Pilates – You can’t get much closer to the source than a pilates studio owned by Eden Sassoon of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! I don’t think Eden actually teaches any classes, but who knows maybe you’ll run into her or she’ll bring Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne to another class. According to Eden Sassoon’s Bravo Blog they took the class with the teacher Amanda. If you’ve never tried pilates on the reformer (the crazy looking machine) I highly recommend it! It’s great for core strength and lengthening and toning all over. It’s also very challenging which keeps you focused and helps with stress. Not to mention I touched my toes for the first time after a pilates class so it really helps with flexibility! Dita Von Teese, Miley Cyrus, and Cameron Diaz are just a few celebrities who love pilates. I constantly hear “nothing changed my body as much as pilates.” (On ClassPass: EDEN by Eden Sassoon Pilates – Beverly Hills 109 N La Cienega Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 and EDEN by Eden Sassoon Pilates – The Glen (Bel Air) 2924 Beverly Glen Cir, Los Angeles, CA 90077)

LIT Method – This season Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna went to a rowing class called LIT (Low Impact Training). This class uses low impact cardio machines (the water rowers) combined with resistance band training. The 50 minute classes are broken up into 4 phases: Compound, Isolation, Corrective Posture/Core, & Recovery. It’s both cardio and strength training together as one. (On ClassPass: LIT Method West Hollywood 8474 W 3rd St, Suite #214, Los Angeles, CA 90048)

Pilates PlusKyle Richards and Lisa Rinna tried pilates long before Eden Sassoon joined the cast and tweeted about it. Everyone should definitely take my friend and fellow blogger Megan Quint Gressel at the Encino location for the early Wednesday classes! There are locations all over LA, the Valley, Malibu and the OC. (On ClassPass: Pilates Plus – Encino (aka where Megan teaches) 16101 Ventura Blvd, Suite 210, Los Angeles, CA 91436; Pilates Plus – Studio City (the location Kyle and Lisa Rinna went to) 13205 Ventura Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91604)

Barry’s BootcampKyle Richards mentioned in a People interview that she attends the very intense full body workout at Barry’s Bootcamp. Barry’s Bootcamp is an hour-long cardio and strength-building workout designed to help you burn up to 1,000 calories! (On ClassPass: Barry’s Bootcamp – West Hollywood 1106 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 see ClassPass app for more locations)

Spinning Classes – Who could forget when the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went to SoulCycle in a full face to spin for Habitat for Humanity. The episode was even called “Spinning a Web” because of the drama that followed. While SoulCycle is not on ClassPass, there’s other great spin class options. I personally love AuraCycle (especially Keelin’s class) or if you’re feeling especially competitive (like a Real Housewife) you can do FlyWheel which has you race against everyone in the class and shows your spot on a leaderboard. (On ClassPass: AuraCycle – West Hollywood 8231 W 3rd St, Ste E, Los Angeles, CA 90048; Flywheel – West Hollywood
8599 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069)

Cirque School – Way back in the Carlton, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville days the ladies had drama while flying on trapezes at Cirque School LA. While this exact studio is not offered on ClassPass, there are several cirque/circus type workouts and studios to choose from. At Aerial Warehouse you can do aerial silks, hoop, trapeze, trampoline, tumbling, dance and more. (On ClassPass: Aerial Warehouse – Culver City 3961 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230)
