DIY Sea Salt Spray/Surf Spray for Hair

DIY Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray Recipe

Next up is how to make your own sea salt spray/surf spray in case you don’t want to spend $26 on 4oz. of Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. You’ll need:

• 1/4 cup of Mediterranean coarse sea salt – You can buy this at the grocery store or get it on Amazon
• A squirt bottle
• A tablespoon of hair gel (any kind)
• 2 cups boiling water

Put the salt into the 2 cups of boiling water, add the hair gel, put it in the spray bottle once it’s cooled slightly, and spray on damp hair.

You can adjust the amount of salt you use based on how much hold you’d like. The more salt you add the more textured your hair will come out. Pretty easy, right?
