Easy Spring Makeup Tutorial

Spring is here! And so is my Easy Spring Makeup video tutorial. I use the term “tutorial” very loosely, but this spring makeup look is so easy that even a beginner wouldn’t need too many instructions to nail it.

For this easy spring makeup look I used mostly drugstore products and did bright fresh skin with a pop of sage green on the lids and a coral pink lip. This spring makeup look is so easy it would make a great Easter makeup look, it could be work makeup with a pop, or weekend makeup when you don’t want to give yourself the full drag queen beat-down.

A blog post and video tutorial on how to achieve this super simple (mostly) drugstore makeup look. A spring makeup look that even beginners can do.

Check it out as well as a list of the products mentioned:

NYX Matte Bronzer in Light

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer and Cindy-Lou Manizer highlighters – these are not drugstore, but I always buy them on sale when they are on HauteLook for $12

Brushes: Morphe M433 ($5.99!),   Sigma E40, Forever 21 eyelash curler, ELF studio blush brush, Real Techniques powder brush, ELF fan brush, Morphe M139 pencil brush

L’Oreal Infallible 24 hour eyeshadow in Golden Sage

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Taupe and brow gel in Caramel

Maybelline Volum’Express The Rocket mascara

Maybelline FIT ME! Matte and Poreless foundation in 112 Natural Ivory and Fit Me Matte + Porless translucent powder

Milani Luminoso Blush

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Tokyo

If you’re going to order any of these online I HIGHLY recommend Ebates because right now you can get 6% cash back from Ulta! Also mentioned: Wayne Goss Buffing Technique and he has now added a video demo hmm maybe I should make a video of me attempting to do this?? My Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless foundation demo and review to see how I did my base makeup. My Lisa Vanderpump beauty secrets post.

And I just really want to say that this video is EXACTLY what I pictured my YouTube channel to be like when I started. There’s millions of pros out there as well as self-taught drop dead stunners who can teach makeup and do it on themselves much better than I ever will. When I wanted to make my own YouTube channel I wanted to bring to the table some realness of a regular non-pro girl who isn’t great and show me making mistakes (and cursing) and how I fix them! Because remember you don’t have to try so hard!

What kind of spring makeup do you like to wear? Do you change it up based on the season?
