Valentine’s Day Ideas and Events for Singles in LA

Pre-Vday event: Will you be my Haut Valentine? By Living Wholly has the chocolate specialists at Vosges coming to talk about the story behind every chocolate as well as a Love Coach coming to speak on ways to attract more love into your life. Oh and a chocolate tasting and gift bag. It’s before Valentines Day on Thursday 2/12/15 from 7pm-9pm in Beverly Hills. Hey, maybe the Love Coach will be so good you’ll find a date before Saturday?

Feeling single and spiritual this vday? I know my LA friends will be all about Be Your Own Valentine with Nya Patrinos from 7:30-9:30pm because you’ll be practicing Restorative Yoga by Candlelight in a series designed to open the 7 chakras.

Not feeling lovey dovey? How about a Darling Valentines Brunch & Beauty from 10:30am-1pm where you’ll drink champagne while making homemade body scrubs (Tickets $40). Those sound like a few things I love. There’s also a Free Make-up Class: Valentines Day Look at Make-up Designory in Burbank from 12-2pm with 30% off all MUD products for attendees.

Want to give back and possibly find the generous kind-hearted love of your life? How about Single’s Build Day for Habitat for Humanity in Glendale from 9am-4pm (Tickets $20). Lunch is provided and there’s a Happy Hour outing afterwards…

If you want to re-live your prom and possibly meet your own king or queen Unique USA’s 3rd Annual Fake Prom that has Back to the Future’s “Enchantment Under the Sea” theme and an option to register as single and get entry to the singles only lounge.

If you’re single and braver than me there’s Valentine’s Speed Dating by SpeedLa Dating & Matchmaking from 8-10pm and this one sounds better than previous ones I’ve read about because it’s at a more upscale location- The Sofitel Hotel (Tickets $39).

There’s a pre-vday Dating Ring LA Launch Party on Wednesday 2/11/15 from 8-11:30 at The Parlor with tons of singles, some free drinks, and you can find out about their free matchmaking service.

Finally- when in doubt, a Galentines Day party is always a blast.

Some posts that will make you feel better about being single: Why I Stopped Online Dating, find out how a terrible date ended with a Tiffany’s box, and see an awkward date I had immortalized in cartoon. Or maybe you need to Heal Your Relationship Space.
