Microblading Eyebrows

At this point I think we all know that having good eyebrows is one of the best things you can do for your overall look. Having groomed, filled in eyebrows can help make you look more polished, younger, and can really frame and transform your face. Because of this need for great brows microblading has emerged as a semi-permanent solution to help you say “I woke up like this.” Tattooed eyebrows used to look like a faded sharpie, but we’ve come a long way since then with microblading looking much more natural.

I have been absolutely loving my brows now that I’m getting them threaded ($7) and tinted ($20) at Aruna’s Threading Salon in Hollywood, but I have to go back every 2-3 weeks and the tint lasts maybe 1-2 weeks so microblading may be in my future…

What is Microblading?

NARS Ita Brush Dupe

As an Amazon Prime member and shopaholic, I have bought all kinds of makeup and skin care goodies online hoping that they will live up to their great reviews. Spoiler alert: this NARS Ita brush dupe did.

NARS ‘Ita’ Kabuki Brush

For a long time I lusted after the NARS ‘Ita’ Kabuki Brush, but at $55 I never could bite the bullet and actually purchase it.  I also had watched a video review where the girl talked about how badly the brush shed and how disappointing it was which made me decide it probably wasn’t worth the price tag.

Makeup Remover Cloths Review

A while ago I made a post about how to avoid How to Gently Remove Makeup and Stop Ruining Your Towels and I recently tried the S & T Always Off Makeup Remover Cloths ($3.79 for 3 on Amazon) and they are amazing! These are plush microfiber (88% polyester 12% nylon) face cloths that will gently remove dirt, oil and makeup and they eliminate the need for disposable makeup wipes.

Erika Jayne’s Beauty Secrets

We all love Erika Jayne’s over-the-top glam, but I think what’s even more appealing about her is her honesty. I read every interview I could find about Erika Jayne’s beauty routine and she is not sugar coating it for us. She is not afraid to let you know she did not wake up like this.

What do you think makes someone beautiful? Confidence is the base to all beauty.

NikkieTutorials Makeup Palette

I am an avid consumer of beauty guru content on YouTube, IG, SnapChat, you name it and I’m watching it daily. I was so excited when I heard NikkieTutorials was coming out with her own palette with Too Faced because I love her aesthetic which is basically super pasty girl in drag queen glam with extra glitter, my kind of girl. Her palette is launching next week on Monday August 15th at Ulta, Sephora, Sephora Canada, and the Too Faced website. Here’s what you get for $56 Continue reading “NikkieTutorials Makeup Palette”
