Mermaid Makeup and Tips for Glowing

I was playing around with my makeup and decided to try out a Halloween idea. I did this mermaid makeup and wanted to share some of the hits and misses product and application-wise to help inspire you for your own Halloween makeup!

I realized today that I hadn’t posted an Instagram picture of my makeup in a while and I had nothing else to do for the rest of the day so I decided to play with my makeup. I’ve been thinking about being a mermaid for Halloween for a few weeks now and in the back of my mind I was also thinking about how my LA Splash Cosmetics Crystallized Glitters would finally be put to good use with a mermaid look. This look could also be a fairy or a fancy alien. I think that playing around with makeup is a fun way to get creative and a good way to remind yourself of all the products you have but aren’t using on a regular basis. I wanted to share how I did it because it might give you some ideas for your Halloween makeup:

How to Fill in Your Brows

I recently went to the Sephora Perfect Brows event and they showed me how to use a bunch of different Anastasia Beverly Hills products to get my perfect brows.

After I went to the NYX Face Awards recently I knew I wanted to attend more beauty events ASAP. I hit the internet and found a few. If you want to attend beauty events you can find them on websites for departments stores such as Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, Sephora, and MAC. The events are typically free and sometimes there’s champagne or gifts which is always fun!

Fabuluxe Jewels Haul

So in case you haven’t noticed, I have started posting on a schedule with new posts every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday so today’s is a little bonus post! Lilly Ghalichi’s Makeup Tutorial Part Two – Highlighting, Concealing, and Contouring like Kim Kardashian

Hello Beauties- so I’d say it’s been a little less than 2 years since I learned how to properly contour. Before that I used to think why would I do that? I don’t need to put on stage makeup to go out? I just want to look tan so I’ll just put bronzer all over my face! I have since learned the error of my ways and while I’m not the World’s Best Contour Artist I can show you my tips.

Why contour?

False Lashes for Beginners

False lashes, fake eyelashes, strip lashes, individual lashes, faux mink lashes, etc. etc. etc. can be scary. There’s glue right next to your eyeball and there’s always the fear that you’ll destroy your entire makeup look when you apply them. I’m going to break down how to apply false lashes including my best tips and tricks for optimum results.
