Hey everyone- We have another guest post by Joana Teixeira today- hair care tips for busy mornings! I totally need this because as I’ve stated before in my Instagram story, I literally spend like 45 minutes on makeup, 3 minutes on hair and 30 seconds on my outfit in the morning. TG Joana is coming through with the tips!! I love the leave-in conditioner tip, I’m so curious to try it!!

As much as we’d all love to sit around each morning drinking fresh coffee, eating avocado toast and endlessly styling our hair, most of the time that just isn’t possible. Mornings tend to be a rush of putting on our clothes and finding something for breakfast before heading out the door as soon as we can. How to Get the Look: Beach Waves

Heading into the autumn months it can feel like all the possibilities of summer are slowly seeping away. Those long, sunlit evenings, days by the beach and summer holidays abroad… When we think about the dark, gloomy weather that is about to come our way it can all feel a little bit depressing.

But it really doesn’t need to! There are lots of ways to maintain the spirit of summer even in those dark, wintery months. Why not pay homage to the god of all things beachy and sunny by re-creating summer hairstyles this fall? Get yourself some sun kissed locks and a casual sea-salt look. To keep the essence of summer alive why not try out a beautiful beach waves style? This classic occurs naturally after you’ve been in the sea, but it’s also recreate-able from the comfort of your own living room even in the depths of Fall.

A Tourist in My Own City of Toronto

I recently posted my friend Julia’s recommendations in Paris and today I have some from Navid about Toronto, enjoy! I’ll add in my commentary in italics again.

I was born and raised in Toronto. I lived there for a full 25 years. On the eve of my 25th birthday, I decided to pick up and relocate to our big neighbor below, the land of opportunity. 9 years later, I can honestly say that the city that I once knew is no more. My friends and family are scattered across the town and world. The city has grown in population and popularity (thanks to Drake and the like.) And so when someone recently asked me for some ideas of places to visit while they were visiting Toronto, I drew a complete blank. It was actually quite upsetting. I love Toronto. I miss Toronto. My fondest memories were experienced and lived there.
Nonetheless, I still took it upon me to inquire and discover the city I once called home and here is what I came up with:
