Who is Jessie James Decker you ask? She is a 27 year old mother of 2, country singer/songwriter, and NFL wife. She also has some serious charisma and personality. She also has unreal crazy huge beautiful mermaid hair and beautiful makeup and outfits. These are a few of the reasons why I have watched her YouTube videos over and over. Here’s a few things I have incorporated into my beauty routine:

This is her first video that sucked me in and got me to do a few things: I bought a bunch of bandanas and wear them all the time now, I mostly avoid putting eyeliner on my water line, and I’ve been going to town with my bronzer (I’m currently wearing Makeup For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in 20M).

Jessie James Decker Hair Tutorial
I watched this one a bunch of times and now I’m teasing my hair way more often, doing loose waves instead of curls in my hair, and using hair powder for texture and volume. I’ve also been using volumizing hair spray (this Dove one smells incredible) and texturizing spray a lot more liberally.
A few more insider tips I have learned from basically studying this woman:
- She has hair extensions because she said her hair all fell out when she was pregnant.
- She also rocks eyelash extensions.
- She uses a cheap-o Conair curling iron and hates “prom-like” tight curls.
- She uses a knock-off of the Mason Pearson brush- a Sonia Kashuk version from Target (which is now on my wishlist).
- She highlights her own hair at home. I followed her tutorial and loved my results!
