Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 9 premiers on 2/12/19 and I thought it was time to do a beauty secrets post on Lisa Rinna! In case you missed it I’ve done beauty secrets posts for Lisa Rinna’s Real Housewives costars Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Erika Jayne already.

Lisa Rinna carries Tom Ford Sable Smoke lipstick in her purse and it is one of her signature lip colors.
MAC kinda sexy
Lisa Rinna’s favorite lipstick ever is MAC lipstick in Kinda Sexy (ps I’m super fair with blonde hair and love this shade too!).
Lisa Rinna’s Lip Gloss
Lisa Rinna tops MAC Kinda Sexy lip gloss with MAC lipglass in Lust, MAC lipglass in Cultured, or MAC lipglass in Prr.
Like her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna also enjoys Chanel lipglosses. She carries Chanel lip gloss in Rose Sand in her handbag. This color is no longer available, but I think the closest shade in Chanel lip gloss is 804 Rose Naif.
In Lisa’s “What’s in My Bag?” you can see a Tom Ford Ultra Shine Lip Gloss, but the color isn’t mentioned. I’m guessing it’s Sahara Pink.
Lip Balm
Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturizer keeps her signature pout hydrated on the go.
Coral Lip Pencil
Lisa branched out from her signature nude lip and wore a pretty coral on Watch What Happens Live. Her makeup artist revealed that the color was NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Lodhi. (source)

CC Cream Foundation
Lisa Rinna loves the same foundation as Southern Charm star Cameran Eubanks (and me!) IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream. This foundation has amazing coverage, feels like you’re wearing nothing, and has great skin care benefits and SPF. I’ve gone through several tubes of it!
Concealer
Lisa Rinna uses NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer in Ginger. Ginger has an orange tint to it which is great at hiding dark under eye circles.
Pressed Finishing Powder
She tops that with Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Warm Natural. Topping liquid BB cream or foundation will “set” your makeup making sure it stays put during the day and it will take away any oiliness.
Contour and Highlight
For a glow Lisa Rinna uses Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow Contour Duo. The bronzer has a nice neutral undertone so it can work great as a contour shade to carve out the cheek bones.

Lisa Rinna saw her first dermatologist at 11 years old and had to go on Accutane in her 20’s because her acne was so severe, so she takes her skin care very seriously! (source)
DIY Eye De-Puffing with Hemorrhoid Pads
A well known beauty secret is to use hemorrhoid cream under the eyes to help with puffiness. Lisa started with those, but moved on to the hemorrhoid pads which can lay under the eyes for 5-10 minutes for a quick de-puffing. The cream shrinks the blood vessels, works as an astringent, and gives some contraction for tightening.
Exfoliating Facial Scrub
Lisa likes Kate Somerville ExfoliKate which is an exfoliator for the face. She uses it twice a week.
Acne Spot Treatment
Lisa Rinna uses Kate Somerville’s EradiKate acne treatment if a spot pops up. Sonja Morgan of Real Housewives of New York City is a fan of this as well. (source)

Anti-Aging

Cortisone Shot for Acne
According to her daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin, Lisa Rinna recommends going to the doctor for a cortisone shot when she gets pimples. (source)

Lisa mentioned celeb favorite Nurse Jamie’s UpLift Body Rolling Beauty Massage and showed off how she used it on her Instagram story. This y-shaped rolling beauty massager uses high frequency sonic vibration to improve and uplift skin’a appearance. You can use it with or without body oils or moisturizers and you can use it on your face, neck and chest as well as your body.
Drugstore Nighttime Moisturizers
Lisa is pretty obsessed with moisturizing her body as well. She makes sure to moisturize her hands nightly and wears moisturizing gloves to bed once a week. She loves Erika Jayne’s favorite Aquaphor and uses Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Jar on her feet, knees and elbows.

Lisa also likes to use her facialist Renee Rouleau’s masks before a day of filming. She uses the Triple Berry Smoothing Peel followed by either the Energizing Cleansing Masque if her skin feels oily or Bio Calm Repair Masque if she needs moisture. (source, source)

DIY Egg White Mask
If you’re not quite on the Rinna/Hamlin budget Lisa has some affordable recommendations you can find right in the kitchen. She uses an egg white mask which dries and tightens and feels like an instant face lift. Dr. Andrew Ordon on The Doctors agreed with Lisa and added that the proteins in the egg put the moisture back into your skin.
DIY Lip Plumpling Mask
Lisa recommends rubbing a little cinnamon on the lips for some pluming. Dr. Ordon agreed that it gives the lips an inflammatory reaction and the temporary swelling makes the lips look plump.
DIY Exfoliating Mask
Lisa mixes together egg, honey, lemon oil, olive oil, and sugar and then uses it on the backs of her hands, her lips and her face to exfoliate.

Lisa Rinna’s Hair
“I wash my hair or I use Chaz Dean’s Wen. I alternate. I try to not wash it every day. Then I use Paul Mitchell mousse. Then I dry it. Then I put in some kind of pomade. I like Supremo’s Magic Move, in soft or hard, or Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Styling Wax. Then I use Kerastase’s Double Force Hairspray. A little flat iron if I’m going out, or I throw a little Moroccanoil in it if it’s dry. That’s it.”

Lisa Rinna’s Lips
Lisa Rinna had her lips originally filled with collagen at 24 years old. When it wore off 3 months later she decided she wanted more permanent results so she had her top lip filled with silicone. At first Lisa loved her silicone lip injections, but they got hard and bumpy over time. (source)
Lisa had lip surgery to have her lip procedure reversed on her reality show Harry Loves Lisa in 2010 (source). Garth Fissure is the surgeon that did the reconstruction/upper lip surgery for Lisa Rinna. You may remember him from my previous post on Lip Injections, Fillers, and Plastic Surgery. Silicone injections have been replaced by fillers like Juvederm which look more natural and are not permanent.
Lisa was really a pioneer in the lip filler category. She was made fun of relentlessly and now everyone is getting lip filler!
Although she hated when they became hard and lumpy, she claims she never got any roles until she had her lips done and that they made her career!
