I’ve been a huge fan of Southern Charm since the very first season and Cameran consistently has absolutely amazing hair and makeup that are natural and effortless, yet incredible all at the same time. Since a lot of people have questions about her age- Cameran Eubanks aka Cameran Wimberly’s birthday is 11/21/83 making her currently 33 years old. One of Cameran’s biggest beauty secrets and the reason why she always looks so flawless- she used to be a makeup artist! (Source)
Amazon’s latest product is the Echo Look which has all of the voice activated features of the Amazon Echo, but now is equipped with a special camera to capture outfits. The camera is hands-free, has built-in LED lighting, has a depth-sensing capabilities, and is able to blur the background automatically. It can also take videos and it looks like it makes little Boomerang videos as well. Now you can ask Alexa what the weather will be and then have her take a selfie in whichever outfit she has decided looks best on you.
Hi everyone! I spent the entire last month planning, shopping, plotting, hunting, cooking, and rearranging to prepare for my sister Hannah’s bridal shower because I wanted it to be perfect! She wanted to do it in our home town of Jupiter, FL (in the Palm Beach area) while we were at our parent’s house for the holidays. The theme she choose was tropical which can work literally any day of the year in south Florida because it’s so warm and sunny. I found her the dress she wore for the shower at Crossroads (consignment store) on Melrose Ave. in LA before we even knew she was going to have one and she got an awesome deal on it. It’s the Amanda Uprichard Cubano Jacquard Sheath dress. I left shopping for my dress till the last minute, but luckily good ol’ Palm Beach staple Lilly Pulitzer came through!
I recently went to Vegas for my friend Courtney’s bachelorette party and had an absolute blast! Here’s some info that might help you with your next bachelorette bash or your next trip to Vegas!
Prepping for the Trip
One month before: Go online and order all the most ridiculous bachelorette games and decorations you can find. Get your wardrobe together.
A few days before: if you’re road tripping it be sure to stock up on rosé/champagne, snacks, and bring an entire case of water. Also consider a case of Red Bull. A wine key/bottle opener is very important as well. Get a manicure/pedicure/brows threaded. Get some cash out.
The night before you go to Vegas: If you are a pale person like myself, you’re going to want to get a spray tan. In the evening take a shower, exfoliate your entire body using exfoliating gloves and a body scrub, then shave wherever you like to shave. When you get out of the shower don’t put on any lotion or deodorant. Wear loose fitting clothes that you don’t mind getting spray tan on and either wear a bikini/bathing suit or nothing at all underneath. Pull your hair up in a bun. I tried Organic Shimmer on Melrose and loved their $19 for first time customers deal. The girl that did my tan was super sweet and told me a funny story about her first bachelorette party. Afterwords be very careful when you are around any water. Wash your hands sparingly. Don’t let water drip down your arms when you brush your teeth. Don’t take a shower or wash off the tan even if you look like a body builder. Make sure you’re ok with all of your bedding getting self-tanner on it, because it will happen. Sleep in loose long sleeves and pants to contain most of the spray tan.
The day you leave: In the morning take a shower and rinse off the outer layer of spray tan. Don’t scrub and don’t use too much soap. Make sure you pack your darkest foundation and lots of bronzer so your face will match your body. Make sure your snacks game is tight. Bring your ID. Pack a lot of aspirin and water.
Hello everyone! While I absolutely do not consider myself a fashion blogger, I have jumped on this athleisure trend and have gone HAM with my Adidas trefoil purchases. It’s like wearing fancy sweatpants that are appropriate in public… or at least that’s what I keep telling myself. Because I’ve received a lot of compliments and interest about my items I thought I’d pass on where I got it to all of you (because honestly I’ve spent like 4+ hours online browsing and comparing prices).
The amazing beauty blogger that was my initial inspiration was Desi Perkins in this Instagram post:
If you’re like me and always expending tons of energy trying to figure out what to bring on trips in order to be prepared for any weather/situation/temperature/activity then you’re probably wondering what the hell to wear to Coachella! If you don’t know, Coachella is a huge music festival that’s in Palm Springs aka the desert every spring. It’s 3 days long and the fashion is almost as important to Coachella as the music. Coachella is one of those few rare times that you can dress in basically a costume in public and no one will judge you. I will warn you that at 28 I’m a pretty pragmatic young lady so if you’re one of those girls that has no problem wearing Louboutins all night, bold lips any day without worrying constantly that lipstick is on your teeth, or outfits that are basically taped to your naughty parts you probably have a much higher commitment to lookin’ fly than I do so these tips may be too chill for you. So let’s get into what my tips are on what to wear to Coachella including affordable clothes and accessories:
1. Shoes – Coachella is enormous I’d guess depending on how active your group is you will be walking up to 6-10+ miles per day in a grassy field. I wore flat boots when I went because my friend Meagan told me to wear boots that “don’t even have a 1 inch heel. Not even the littlest baby heel. Flat. On the ground.” And I think that was really good advice. If you wear heels you’ll probably hate yourself and end up barefoot. If you wear sandals they are going to get jacked up by all the dirt and your feet will be stepped on by fellow festival-goers. If you’re even more chill than I am you could wear sneakers and be comfortable as well.
2. Outfit: >> Dresses and Skirts– Pick some that are long enough so that when you sit on the ground you’ll have a little bit of a fabric barrier. Also consider wearing shorts underneath for added comfort and because it can get super windy. Continue reading “What to Wear to Coachella”
A few weeks ago I was invited by a friend to go to a show at LA Fashion Week. It was my first “big time” fashion show I’d ever attended. I originally thought it was the first fashion show I’d attended period, but then remembered back to my days in Gainesville, FL supporting my model roommate walking the runway (miss you Val!). Anyway the show was Sue Wong “Fairies and Sirens” on October 15, 2014 at LA Live and after watching the video on the invite I was immediately obsessed with Sue:
In this video Sue talks about her brand and she is such an artiste it’s just great. She also discusses how her 3 different mansions inspire her dresses so yeah the video is pretty amazing. As far as how to get invited to the shows unfortunately I don’t know how one does this. I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend whose aunt knows Sue. The show was on a Wednesday evening and the dress code was cocktail attire. I decided to go a little more casual, but yet still chic and in all-black which seems like a fashionable thing to do, right? Here’s the outfit I wore:
